what kind of gear do i ned?

In terms of fishing gear, everything for a successful day will be provided! That being said, you’re more than welcome to bring your own. Additionally, you should bring a warm layer, shoes that can get wet, and a whole ‘lotta fish luck.

I’ve never fly fished before, is that a problem?

There is no prior knowledge about fly fishing necessary to fish with Morrison Guide Service! The Madison River is a perfect river for all fishing levels.

do i need fishing license?

A Montana fishing license is required for all anglers over the age of 12. You can purchase a license online here, through Trout Stalkers or Madison River Fishing Company, or any other fly shop in town.

Is there lunch included?

A full-day trip will include delicious lunch and a fully stocked cooler with water and other non-alcoholic drinks. Please let us know ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions.
